]]> Durch Zufall und mit etwas Glück bin ich an einen großen Karton C-Ration der US-Army gekommen. Dank eines Bekannten konnte ich mir die US-Verpflegung endlich zulegen, nochmal vielen Dank Elmar. Die C-Ration wurde im Juli 1977 verpackt, ist also mittlerweile 32 Jahre alt.

Der großer Karton C-Ration besteht aus 12 Unterkartons. Die kleineren Kartons werden jeweils mit B-1 UNIT , B-2 UNIT und B-3 UNIT bezeichnet. Folgender Inhalt ist in den kleinen Kartons (zusätzlich: 1 Löffel und 1 Accessory Packet*):

  • B-1 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Tuna Fish
    incl. Crackers and Candy, Peanut Butter + Quartered Pears
  • B-1 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Ham and Eggs, Chopped 
    incl. Crackers and Candy, Peanut Butter + Quartered Pears
  • B-1 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Beef with Spiced Sauce
    incl. Crackers and Candy, Peanut Butter + Apricots
  • B-1 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Pork Slices with Juices
    incl. Crackers and Candy, Peanut Butter + Apricots

  • B-2 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Beef Slices and Potatoes with Gravy
    incl. Crackers and Cocoa Beverage Powder, Jam Grape + Fruit Cake
  • B-2 UNIT, Hauptgericht: Beans with Frankfurter Chunks in Tomato Sauce
    incl. Crackers and Cocoa Beverage Powder, Jam Apricot + Nut Roll Cake
  • B-2 UNIT,  Hauptgericht: Beans with Meat Balls in Tomato Sauce
